The unique drying process of the FC-20 targets both the inside and outside of the gear simultaneously. External fans direct heated air over the exterior of the gear, while an internal system directs air through specially designed hangers to dry the interior of the gear. The patented Humidity Tracking System (HTS) ensures precise drying by halting the process once the gear reaches optimal dryness, preventing overdrying and conserving energy.

Wet gear not only poses health risks to firefighters but also safety risks, as moisture trapped in gear during a fire can turn into steam and cause burns. Additionally, storing wet gear can lead to mildew and bacteria growth, weakening the fabric.
