220K10 replacement belt, serpentine belt, k, (1.4in x 22.75in oc), 10 rib, commercial laundry drive belt

Poly-V serpentine belt J-section multi-rib construction. Serpentine belts combine the flexibility of a flat belt with the grip of multiple V-ribs, allowing a single belt to wrap around multiple pulleys in a serpentine path. Widely used in commercial laundry equipment, HVAC systems, and automotive accessory drives.

⚡ Belt Features

  • Multi-rib J-section profile provides maximum power density in a compact, flexible belt
  • Polyester tensile cord construction resists stretching for long service life
  • EPDM or neoprene compound resists heat, oil, and ozone
  • Flexible enough to reverse-bend over backside idlers without damage
  • Runs quietly with low vibration across wide speed ranges

🔧 Installation Tips

  • Disconnect and lock out power before accessing belt drive
  • Inspect sheave/sprocket grooves for wear replace worn sheaves before installing new belt
  • Never use a pry bar to force the belt over sheave flanges this damages tensile cords
  • Set tension per equipment service manual over-tension damages bearings, under-tension causes slip
  • Re-check tension after first 48 hours of operation belts seat slightly after initial run-in

❓ Common Questions

Q: What does the rib count mean?

A: The number after the section letter (e.g. J6) is the number of ribs on the belt. A higher rib count means a wider belt with greater power capacity. When replacing a serpentine belt, match the section letter, pitch length, AND rib count exactly to the original.

Q: Can I replace a serpentine belt with a standard V-belt?

A: No the pulley profiles are completely different. Serpentine belt pulleys have a grooved profile matching the J-section ribs. Standard V-belt pulleys have a single V-groove. The systems are not interchangeable.
